WSBN Small Grants Program 2026 – Applications Close 20th September
Welcome to the Wonthaggi Seed Bank and Nursery (WSBN) Small Grant program 2026
The Wonthaggi Seedbank and Nursery (WSBN) works towards conserving, creating and restoring the indigenous flora and fauna biodiversity in Bass Coast Shire and South Gippsland Shire by the propagation and growing of local plant species.
Before completing the application, please ensure that you are eligible.
Applicants
- Must be undertaking a project in line with the WSBNs stated philosophy.
- Will be given priority if undertaking a project within the shires of Bass Coast or South Gippsland.
- Must complete the project within 2 years of the date of the Grant approval.
- Must be, or auspiced by, an incorporated Association, with a current bank account.
- Must demonstrate relevant insurance (public liability) requirements, and permission from the land holder if the project is being conducted on land not owned by the applicant.
- May be asked to provide the WSBN with any other information that is requested and will be asked to participate in media releases pertaining to the project.
- Can by undertaking a project on either Government (eg Parks Vic, BCSC) or private land.
- Can apply for a maximum of $5,000 per application but are encouraged to apply for less if that is their spending capability.
Please note: the recipient body must oversee the distribution and organization of the grant money. Grant money is not transferrable.
